Full-Time Baker/Food Service

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and motivated person to join our team!  

 

We have a great spot for someone that can bring their baking and food service experience and to serve awesome things. 

​

This is an opportunity for a detailed and self-driven individual to apply their. previous cafe or restaurant experience within our team to provide both baking as well as food prep and service of our in-house made goods. 

 

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a bakery AND food preparation role

• Passion for seasonal, ingredient-driven food

• Has strong principles in regard to proper cooking techniques, and an eye for detail

• Keen understanding of nutrition, and healthy living

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Creative and self-motivated

• Responsible for working during café-style hours Friday to Monday, which may include mornings starting at 6:30 am and weekends. Full-Time 30+ hours/week

Baker/Prep Cook Candidates MUST possess ALL of these attributes:

• Ability to follow recipes.

• Opening display of all baked goods before the cafe opens.

• Ensuring care is taken for all ingredients and displaying proper technique and safe handling.

• Responsible for creating and following standardized recipes and portioning for completed dishes.

• Inventory, cleaning, organizing, and maintenance. 

• Ensures correct use, storage, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment and facility.

• Responsible for working in a clean, and organized manner.

• Complies with local food safety regulations.
